Apple lays on the hype / Macworld to open after big build up Since Apple won't talk, everybody else will.
Rumors of the new product the Cupertino computer-maker plans to unveil when Macworld Expo 2002 kicks off today at San Francisco's Moscone Center have been flying all over gossip sites. Guesses range from a flat-panel iMac to a personal digital assistant to a G5 microchip.
The only hint that Apple Computer Inc. will give is that "This one is big, even by our standards," adding, "Count on being blown away."
Whatever that means.
